    Ripon is a small cathedral city, situated 11 miles north of Harrogate between the cities of York and Leeds. It is the fourth smallest city in England and has all the characteristics of a vibrant market town with many shops situated around the market square, where a thriving market takes place each Thursday.

    Hawksmoor Court is situated off Little Studley Road, on the North side of Ripon, with easy access to the A61 Ripon by-pass and within walking distance of the city centre. It has been named after the architect, Nicholas Hawksmoor who designed the obelisk erected in the market place in 1703.
